Dyslexia remediation programme to be offered in 22 more primary schools

The number of primary schools offering programmes to help students with dyslexia will be doubled to 42.

This follows the success of the programme which was piloted in 20 schools last year.

In addition, Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Education Sim Ann said the ministry will provide greater support for students with special needs.

It is extending the post-diagnosis educational guidance services to all primary schools by the end of the year.

This service helps support parents with children who need placement in special education schools.
