Drug trafficker among 104 arrested by Central Narcotics Bureau
The Central Narcotics Bureau or CNB has arrested a 47-year-old Singaporean, suspected of trafficking various types of drugs.
He was arrested in the Toh Guan area as he was leaving his HDB flat.
CNB officers found ketamine, Erimin-5 tablets, Ecstasy tablets, $6,000 in cash and drug paraphernalia on him.
More drugs, drug paraphernalia and another $6,000 were recovered from his unit.
The total drug haul had an estimated street value of more than $58,000.
He faces a minimum of five years of imprisonment and five strokes of the cane.
This was part of a massive four-day island-wide operation, which resulted in the arrests of 104 suspected drug offenders.
