SINGAPORE : Singapore’s Minister—in—Charge of Muslim Affairs, Dr Yaacob Ibrahim, will be in Saudi Arabia to attend the Haj Ministerial Meeting.
During his visit from February 17—18, Dr Yaacob, who is also Minister for Communications and Information, will meet his Saudi counterpart Dr Bandar Mohamed Hajar.
Both men will discuss arrangements for Singaporeans performing the Haj pilgrimage in September/October this year.
Dr Yaacob will be accompanied by the president of the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS), Mohd Alami Musa, and other officials.
