Dr Ng Eng Hen attends wedding of Sultan of Brunei’s daughter
SINGAPORE: Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen and Mrs Ivy Ng attended the wedding of the daughter of the Sultan of Brunei on Sunday as special representatives of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
32—year—old Princess Hajah Hafizah Sururul Bolkiah, and 29—year—old Pengiran Haji Muhammad Ruzaini, were presented to the royal court in a traditional ceremony.
Dr Ng conveyed warm congratulations from Prime Minister Lee and Singapore’s leaders to His Majesty the Sultan, Her Majesty and to the royal couple, reaffirming the strong relationship between Singapore and Brunei.
