Commemorating SAF Day
SINGAPORE: Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong officiated at a ceremony to mark Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Day on Sunday evening.
More than 3,000 SAF regulars and National Servicemen reaffirmed their commitment to defending Singapore.
To mark the event, a parade was held at the SAFTI Military Institute.
The marching contingents included personnel from the Air Force and Navy, who donned the new pixelised combat uniforms for the first time.
Outstanding SAF units were also recognised.
