COI to look into swim caps issue at Commonwealth Games
The Singapore Swimming Association, SSA, says it will convene a Committee of Inquiry, COI, to look into the swim cap issue which occured during the recent Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
The swim caps used by Singapore's swimmers were found to be in breach of the rules and team officials had to scramble for replacement caps for 10 of their 11 swimmers.
The COI is headed by SSA Vice President Joscelin Yeo and comprise three other members.
It'll convene later this month and its findings will be ready within a month after it's completed.
SSA President Lee Kok Choy said it's important to get to the root of the issue and discover any gaps to ensure that such an incident isn't repeated.
