COE Quota risen after shrinking for 7 years
The supply of certificate of entitlement or COE for cars has risen for the first time after shrinking for the last seven years.
The Land Transport Authority says 12,060 certificates will be put up for bidding from May to July this year.
This is almost 3,000 or lose to 30 per cent more, compared to the quota for the period from February to April.
Bidding under this quota will start with the first COE bidding exercise in May 2014.
The next quota announcement for the bidding period of August to October 2014 will be made in July 2014.
