COE Premiums up again
Certificate of Entitlement or COE premiums saw a rebound today, closing mostly higher with the exception of big cars.
The premiums for small cars rose for the first time since March to S$65,689 from S$60,002 in the last bidding exercise.
For big cars, premiums fell 2.7 per cent to $68,103 from S$70,002.
It's the first time big car premiums fell below $70,000 since last May.
Premiums for goods vehicles and buses rose 12.6 per cent to $40,889, from S$36,301.
Motorcycle premiums remained steady at $4,003.
As for the Open category, where COEs can be used for any vehicle type but end up being used mainly for cars, premiums closed at S$67,290, a 2.7 per cent rise from S$65,501 in the previous bidding exercise.
