COE premiums close higher across the board

Premiums for Certificate of Entitlement closed higher across the board, at the end of the latest bidding exercise at 4pm on Wednesday.

The COE for small cars in (Category A) rose by 2.9 per cent or $2,001 to $71,001 from $69,000 in the previous bidding exercise.

That of big cars (Category B) rose by 7.2 per cent or $5,800 to $85,801 from $80,001.

For goods vehicles and buses (Category C), premiums rose by 3.4 per cent or $1,889 to $57,889 from $56,001.

For motorcycles (Category D), premiums rose by 0.4 per cent, or $8, to $1,920, compared with $1,912 previously.

And for the Open category (Category E), COE premiums rose by 0.13 per cent or $111 to $87,000, compared with $86,889 previously.
