SINGAPORE: Christmas came early for about 50 children in Chong Pang constituency where they received the presents they had "wished" for. Most of them wanted toys.
They also experienced the magic of Christmas in the event organised by the Chong Pang Community Club Youth Executive Committee to spread festive cheer to children from lower—income households.
The children were nominated by schools and voluntary welfare organisations, and were selected from the constituency’s welfare database.
Law and Foreign Affairs Minister K Shanmugam, who’s also MP for Nee Soon GRC, joined the residents in spreading the festive cheer.
