Changi East may have a mega-passenger terminal.
A mega-passenger terminal could be built at a site in Changi East.
The site lies between the current Runway 2 and Runway 3.
This was revealed by Minister of State for Transport, Mrs Josephine Teo, in Parliament Wednesday.
She said there is sufficient land for the terminal, along with an airfreight centre, an air logistics centre and Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul hubs.
Over the past year, the Changi 2036 Steering Committee has been working on a concept plan for this site.
