CCS extends review of Proposed Acquisition of JobStreet Singapore
The Competition Commission of Singapore or CCS has extended a review into Seek Asia Investments' proposed acquisition of JobStreet Business Entities.
That's because the CCS was unable to conclude that the proposed acquisition would not raise competition concerns.
SeekAsia offers online recruitment advertising services and recruitment solutions, similar to JobStreet.
Under the Competition Act, a merger might result in the lessening of competition - which is prohibited.
It may take another 6 months before the CCS makes its decision.
