Case of baby found float in waters off East Coast Park: mother to be further remanded for psychiatric evaluation
The mother of a 17-month-old baby found floating at sea near Bedok Jetty last month will be remanded at Changi Women's prison for another week for psychiatric evaluation.
In November, 44-year-old Lim Ann Nee was charged with the murder of her son, Emilien Lacroix.
She allegedly did so between 3pm and 6pm on 25th November in the sea off East Coast Park.
During the short hearing, about 30 family members, including Lim's husband, was present.
If convicted of murder, Lim faces the death penalty.
