Bye Bye Budget Terminal, Hello T4
Demolition started today on Singapore's Budget Terminal to make way for the country's fourth full-fledged flight facility.
Work to destroy the low-cost carrier hub should be completed by June, to be followed by the building of Terminal Four.
Not everything will go to waste, as parts of the old facility will be re-used and recycled.
That includes automated immigration clearance gates, and solar panels.
To bring the current building down, jets of water were needed to prevent debris and dust from spreading.
