Break—in at Bendemeer market, 4 stalls affected
SINGAPORE: Four stalls at the market at Blk 29 Bendemeer Road were found broken into on Tuesday morning.
Police said they received a call for assistance at 9am.
Channel NewsAsia understands that containers with loose change had been stolen from the affected stalls.
A stall owner who was not affected by the break—in told Channel NewsAsia that it appeared that the burglars had climbed over the metal grilles to break open drawers and other belongings in the stalls.
Police said investigations are ongoing.
