SINGAPORE: Five hundred Bishan—Toa Payoh GRC residents broke fast on Wednesday evening at their annual iftar session.

Residents of all races were joined by grassroots advisers and key religious leaders.

This is also the first time the Malay Activity Executive Committees and Inter—Racial and Religious Confidence Circles have partnered the Madrasah to organise the session.

The hope is to reach out and integrate new community partners.

Vouchers and souvenirs were also handed out to needy families as part of the spirit of giving during the Ramadan period.
