SINGAPORE: Six recipients were awarded the Boys' Brigade highest accolade by President Tony Tan Keng Yam at the Istana on Monday (July 14).
The President's Award represents top achievers who have gone through The Boys' Brigade Primers' training. They would have met the demanding requirements in leadership and service in the community, for at least six years.
One award winner is Pang Lon Kai from Raffles Institution, who mentors younger boys.
"For me, the most important part is really just creating a meaningful experience for the BB boys. (For) the programmes that we make, we want to do our best to make the programmes more meaningful, in depth and in breadth," he said. - CNA/ec
