Balloting expected for 31 primary schools in registration Phase 2B

SINGAPORE: Balloting is expected to take place for 31 schools for Phase 2B of the Primary 1 registration exercise.

Some of them include Methodist Girls’ School (Primary), Anglo—Chinese School (Junior), CHIJ St. Nicholas Girls’ School and Nan Hua Primary School.

Phase 2B of the Primary One registration started on Thursday and ended on Friday.

The schools had between 10 and 70 vacancies. Kong Hwa School, for example has 79 applicants vying for 41 places.

Phase 2B is for children whose parents are volunteers, active community leaders or are directly connected with the school.

The results will be announced on July 25.

The next phase for primary one registration —— Phase 2C —— will take place from July 30 to August 1.
