SINGAPORE: A taxi crashed into scaffolding at the junction of Bencoolen Street and Rochor Canal Road on Friday.

According to witnesses two taxis collided, causing one to lose control and crash into the scaffolding.

Two construction workers were on the scaffolding during the accident, leaving them trapped on it for approximately 30 minutes before being rescued by the Singapore Civil Defence Force.

One of the workers was sent to the hospital after complaining about a pain in his left wrist.

Both taxi drivers were not injured.

Onlookers said that the workers were putting up Christmas decorations when the accident happened.
