AMK Town Council alleged hacker, James Raj, denied bail
The alleged hacker of the Ang Mo Kio Town Council, James Raj Arokiasamy, has been denied bail.
District judge Soh Tze Bian, agreed with the prosecution during a bail hearing that 35-year-old James Raj should not be granted bail given his history of having absconded in 2011.
James Raj then spent two-and-a-half years living in Malaysia.
But Judge Soh agreed that James Raj should be given access to his lawyer, M Ravi.
James Raj also faces four counts of using drugs between May 2011 and November 2013.
The case will be mentioned again in January.
