All 2,200 sheep for korban sold out, 2 weeks ahead of closing date

All 2,200 sheep allocated for korban in the 16 audited mosques in Singapore this year were sold out by Monday, the fifth day of registration.

This is about two weeks ahead of the closing date of 19 October.

The Singapore Mosques Korban Committee (JKMS) said registration at all 32 participating mosques, including the 16 audited mosques, are now closed.

Muslims who have yet to register but wish to perform the ritual are advised to make alternative arrangements, such as performing it overseas.

The two days of Korban rituals will be held on Hari Raya Haji on 26 October and the first day of Tasyriq Days on 27 October at all the approved korban venues.
