650 applications received for K1 places at MOE's 10 kindergartens
The Education Ministry says it received 650 applications for K1 places next year at its 10 kindergartens in the two-day registration exercise last week.
They account for more than two-thirds of total places available.
The ministry says balloting will be conducted at three of its kidergartens - at Punggol View, Punggol Green and Sengkang Green.
All parents will be notified of the registration outcome via mail by the 9th of May.
It says those who are not allotted a place may wish to enrol in other MOE Kindergartens nearby or in a different session where there are vacancies.
Similar to industry practice, parents can submit their applications after the registration exercise as long as there are still vacancies in the kindergartens.
