SINGAPORE: A rare 50.55-carat white diamond will be making an appearance in Singapore this week.
Jeweller DeGem's diamond, nicknamed “The White Fire”, is a cushion-cut “D” colour gem, the highest colour grading for colourless diamonds.
It can be seen at the Singapore International Jewelry Expo held at the Marina Bay Sands from Thursday to Sunday (July 3 to 6). The opening ceremony, with MP Lily Neo as guest of honour, takes place at 3.20pm on Thursday.
Also on display at the show are a pair of diamond earrings in white gold, valued at S$1 million, by IVY Masterpiece, and a rare 5-carat pink diamond from Yuli Inc, priced at US$350,000 (S$435,000). - CNA/es
