5 members re—appointed to second term at SLA
SINGAPORE: Law Minister K Shanmugam on Wednesday re—appointed five members to the Singapore Land Authority (SLA) for a further term of two years.
These appointments will take effect on 1 August.
Mr Chaly Mah, who has been a member of SLA since June 2007, will serve a second term as Chairman of SLA.
He is also the chairman of Deloitte Singapore and CEO of Deloitte Asia Pacific and Deloitte Southeast Asia.
Three other members were also re—appointed.
They are Mr George Lim, a senior counsel with law firm Wee Tay and Lim; Ms Teo Lay Lim, a country managing director with Accenture Singapore; and Mr Wong Hong Kuan, chief executive of the Singapore Workforce Development Agency.
Mr Shanmugam also appointed Mr Lim Sim Seng as deputy chairman for the SLA.
Mr Lim was first appointed as a member of the Authority in August 2011 and also serves as a country manager at DBS Bank.
