
SINGAPORE : Thirty finalists will vie to be Singapore’s most loved television and radio commercials of 2012.
They have been shortlisted for the Top 20 local/international television commercials and the Top 10 radio advertisements of The Laurels 2013.
The TV advertisements include WorkRight by the CPF Board and Ministry of Manpower, Army Ops Diary by the Singapore Armed Forces, Ah Ma by the Ministry of Social and Family Development, and eCO by Far East Organization.
Among the shortlisted commercials for radio are Tiger Hour by Asia Pacific Breweries (Singapore), Turn Your Luck Around by the National Council of Problem Gambling, and The Guru/Enlightenment by UOB Cards.
MediaCorp, which is organising The Laurels, said the public can vote for their favourite advertisements between January 19 and March 10.

They also stand to win the top prize of S$10,000.
The results will be announced at a gala awards dinner on March 22.
Close to 350 television commercials and 100 radio advertisements were submitted for The Laurels 2013 awards.
About 200 respondents took part in an auditorium survey conducted by Media Research Consultants to select the finalists.
