3 suspects caught for robberies in New Bridge Rd & Outram Rd

Police have arrested three youths suspected of involvement in two cases of robbery in New Bridge Road and Outram Road.
The suspects are between 16 and 20 years old.
Police said on Tuesday that both incidents happened last Friday.
In the first case, a 26-year-old man was walking along New Bridge Road at about 4.15am when he was assaulted by three unknown men.
The suspects tried but failed to rob him of his belongings.
The victim managed to flee and ran to Police Cantonment Complex to report the matter.
At about 4.30am, a 40-year-old man reported to the Police that he was assaulted and robbed of his wallet by three men when he was walking along Outram Road.
He said the suspects fled towards New Bridge Road.
Both victims suffered multiple injuries.
Officers from Central Police Division caught the suspects between 10pm and 11.40pm on Monday.
One was caught in Ang Mo Kio, another was arrested in Jurong West and the third suspect was nabbed in Toa Payoh.
The suspects will be charged in court on Wednesday with robbery with hurt.
