2 teens arrested for mischief by fire in common corridor of HDB block
Police have arrested two teenagers suspected of mischief by fire.
Police said they were informed at about 6.30pm on 13 May that someone had set fire to discarded items placed along the 25th-floor common corridor of an HDB block in Kim Tian Road.
A discarded Styrofoam box was set on fire.
The fire was put out by vigilant residents before Police and firefighters arrived.
No damage was caused.
Police said the male suspects, who are 15 years old, fled the scene and were arrested at about 7.15pm on the same day.
The suspects have been released on bail.
Investigations into the case are ongoing.
