SINGAPORE: Two new Neighbourhood Police Centres (NPCs) commenced operations on 30 December 2012, taking the number of NPCs in Singapore to 35.

Located at 21A Tebing Lane, Punggol NPC serves Punggol North and Punggol West constituencies, as well as Seletar Aerospace Park.

Woodlands West NPC, located at 9 Marsiling Lane, serves Marsiling and Woodgrove constituencies, as well as Sungei Kadut, Kranji and Mandai industrial estates.

A police statement said the NPCs will operate as one—stop total community policing centres providing a range of services.

These include investigation of general crimes, community liaison and engagement, and targeted crime—fighting.
