SINGAPORE: Two Malaysians have been nabbed for trying to smuggle drugs into Singapore.
The men, aged 31 and 34, were caught at the Tuas checkpoint at about 6:30am on Wednesday.
Immigration officers found four bundles of cannabis, weighing about 2.1 kilogrammes, hidden under the rear seat of the car they were driving.
The drugs are worth about S$69,300.
If convicted, the men face death penalty. - CNA/ck
