2 accidents along PIE
SINGAPORE: Two lorries were involved in an accident along the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) towards Tuas, near the Toh Guan exit.
Police were alerted to the accident at about 5pm on Friday.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force officers had to extricate one of the drivers, who was trapped in his seat.
Both drivers were brought to the hospital.
Separately, an accident involving five cars and a taxi took place along the PIE towards Tuas, near the Adam Road exit.
Police said they were alerted to the accident at about 6pm.
A passenger from the taxi and one driver of the five cars were brought to hospital.
They had minor injuries.
