SINGAPORE: The Traffic Police rounded up 14 drink—drivers and five speedsters in a two and a half—hour operation, to clamp down on dangerous driving.

The island—wide operation started at 1:30am on Saturday.

Road blocks were set up in areas like Outram Road, Lavender Street and Sengkang East Drive.

More than 60 motorists took the breathalyzer test. Of them, 12 men and two women, between the ages of 23 and 60, failed the test.

They were subsequently arrested.
