SINGAPORE: Traffic Police arrested 16 suspects for drink—driving during an islandwide operation on Wednesday morning.
The operation, which was conducted between 1:30am and 4am, covered New Bridge Road, Kallang Road, Crawford Street and Clemenceau Avenue.
The suspects failed the breathalyser test.
The highest level clocked was 68 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath, nearly twice the prescribed legal limit.
