11 injured in scaffolding collapse at Sentosa
SINGAPORE : A scaffolding at a construction site on Sentosa collapsed on Wednesday, injuring 11 Indian workers.
The collapse occurred at about 3.15pm at a construction site near Palawan Beach, where the new Family Entertainment Centre is being built.
The Singapore Civil Defense Force (SCDF) said they received a call for assistance at 3.19 pm. One fire engine, one Red Rhino, six ambulances and five support vehicles were dispatched to the accident site.
The injured have been taken to the Singapore General Hospital and Sentosa is working closely with the SCDF to assist the workers.
