If the art on display at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, doesn't strike your fancy, then the toilets surely will. The centre's creative spirit has overflowed into the lavatories, with each of the six washrooms created by an individual artist using technology and materials from the Kohler collection.
Transcending mere function, the beautifully brilliant bathrooms range from the playful Tell Me Something I Don't Already Know family washroom by the Brooklyn artist Carter Kustera to the rich cobalt blue and white Sheboygan Men's Room (pictured) by the New Yorker Ann Agee.
