Victoria Soto

Victoria Soto, 27, was apparently trying to protect her class when she was killed. Her cousin Jim Wiltsie, told ABC News she had been attempting to hide them in a cupboard when the gunman appeared. She put himself between the gunman and the children and was shot dead. Mr Wiltsie said her actions were no surprise because she always but the welfare of her pupils first

Pupils described her as kind and friendly.
