The 17-year-old -- who failed to justify her favourite's tag and  missed out on an Olympic medal in Sochi last month -- recorded the 20th win of her young career in dominant style the day after her 19th win had given her the World Cup title.

Takanashi's 12th success of the season -- achieved in the absence of Germany's Olympic champion Carina Vogt who did not compete because of a painful knee -- took her onto a total of 1420 points with four events remaining.

1. Sara Takanashi (JPN) 230.4pts (85.0 - 93.5m), 2. Jessica Jerome (USA) 220.0 (89.0 - 90.5m), 3. Evelyn Insam (ITA) 212.3 (93.0 - 86.0m)

Overall (after 15 of 19 events):

1. Sara Takanashi (JPN) 1420pts, 2. Carina Vogt (GER) 761, 3. Daniela Iraschko-Stolz (AUT) 682
