Powerful Pakistan quake 'kills five'
Pakistani civilians gather on a busy street after a powerful earthquake rattled Karachi, on September 24, 2013. At least five people have been killed when a 7.8-magnitude quake hit southwest Pakistan, a senior police officer told AFP.
Rafiq Lassi, police chief for Awaran district in Baluchistan province where the 7.8-magnitude quake struck, said five bodies had been recovered from collapsed buildings.
