NYP student Lai Shimun’s Twitter rant against Indians

NYP student Lai Shimun probably thought that locking her Twitter account would spare her remarks from traveling widely on the internet. When she posted a remark, “F***ing Indians need their own form of transport. Or trains need to have separate cabins for humans and f** dogs”, cyberspace exploded as a screen-shot of the post was widely circulated.

An upset citizen then sent emails to her school, the press and the police.

The derogatory post was removed shortly and Shimun also issued an apology for her “insensitive remarks”.
