Ex-Young PAP member slammed for racist post

Young PAP member Jason Neo posted a photo on his Facebook of a bus full of Malay kindergarteners. There was nothing wrong with the picture per se – what caught the attention of netizens was his caption, “Bus filled with young terrorist trainees?”

The online community burst into a tizzy, called for action to be taken against him. He later said that he had posted it “in a moment on folly” and deleted the offensive content from his Facebook shortly after the incident.

Jason sent an apology letter to the kindergarten, which “humbly” asked for forgiveness for his “insensitive action”. He was investigated by police for his remarks.
