Racist rant: Amy Cheong gets off with stern warning
Amy Cheong is not the first – and likely not the last – to get rebuked for her online remarks
Ashley Cole attacked for offensive tweet
Chelsea player John Terry came under fire for his racist remarks against Queens Park Rangers’ Anton Ferdinand and was sentenced to a four-match ban and a £220,000 fine. Team-mate Ashley Cole took to his Twitter after the report was published, saying, “'Hahahahaa, well done #fa I lied did I, #BUNCHOFT****”
He came under fire despite swiftly removing the posting. He later issued a statement saying that he was “sorry” about his comment made “in the heat of the moment”.
