SIM student slammed for racist jokes

Twenty-year-old Justin Wee got into trouble for hurling vulgarities and racist remarks while “drunk”, which was captured in a five-minute video that was uploaded to Youtube. His friends, reportedly from NUS, were seen laughing at his jokes and encouraging him in the act.

At the time, Justin was at NUS’s Kent Ridge Hall to celebrate the end of an orientation activity. NUS and SIM reportedly took disciplinary action against the students who were involved in the incident.

A police report was also lodged against Justin.
