She was the female IT executive at the centre of the sex-for-contracts case involving ex-CNB chief Ng Boon Gay, who was charged with four counts of corruptly obtaining sexual favours from her.

The top civil servant was accused of engaging in oral sex with Ms Sue on four occasions in 2011 in exchange for business dealings between CNB and her then employers, Oracle Corporation Singapore and Hitachi Data Systems.

Although latest court hearing revealed intimate text messages sent from Sue to Ng, she claimed that she was “coerced to give oral sex” to Ng out of fear and that she was forcibly pushed towards his crotch.

The 36-year-old mother of one, who had her first child in May 2010, is reportedly "certified clinically depressed" and a gag order application put up by the prosecutors to protect her identify was rejected by the judge.

The 18-day trial, which started on Tuesday, continues and will take place over three months.
