Ladies: Do you ever feel like you're perceived as little more than a collection of body parts? You're not imagining things. Blame evolution, which has programmed our brains to see women as sexually objectified parts, according to research conducted by psychologist Sarah Gervais. Men, on the other hand, are viewed as a whole entity. And it isn't just the fault of male chauvinist pigs: Both genders are equally guilty of "local processing," which causes us to focus more on women's individual parts.
