Ten years ago on October 12, terrorists detonated two massive bombs in Bali's nightclub district.
The blasts ripped through the crowded residential and commercial district of Kuta, killing 202 people, including 88 Australians.
Memorials have since been built in Bali and Australia to ensure victims of the bombings are not forgotten.
A memorial service will be held in Bali on Friday to mark the 10th anniversary of the attacks. Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard, Opposition Leader Tony Abbott and former Prime Minister John Howard are all expected to attend.
