Twenty-two pets, both the two-legged and four-legged kind, battled it out in Singapore’s first Pets Idol competition on Saturday.

From the usual dogs and cats, to hamsters and even parrots, these pets pulled out all the stops to impress the judges with their talents. Some charmed with their looks, others with their skills.

Organised by the People’s Association, the second round of the talent competition for pets was held at the Kallang Leisure Park.

Winners of this round will go on to compete in the national finals with pets from other districts in November. The first round of the competition was held in March at Serangoon Community Club.
