Panda-lovers, it’s official – the wait is over!
The giant panda exhibit opens to public on Thursday. To get an up close and personal look at the celebrity pair and their friends, Singapore Zoo-goers will have to pay an additional S$5 (on top of S$20 per adult) or S$3 (on top of S$13 per child, aged three to 12) from Nov 28 until the River Safari opens in the first quarter of next year.
River Safari, Asia’s first and only river-themed freshwater wildlife park, will be home to Kai Kai and Jia Jia for the next 10 years, as part of a joint collaboration between WRS and China Wildlife Conservation Association to raise awareness for the conservation of critically endangered animals.. The giant pandas will be housed in a specially constructed climate-controlled exhibit along the Yangtze River display.
The River Safari is located near the Night Safari and Singapore Zoo at 80 Mandai Lake Road.
