Education and the role of government

In the final segment of the debate, the focus shifted to education, during which Obama accused Romney of wanting to drastically cut the number of teachers. Romney countered that he didn't, even though most experts have agreed that his budget cuts would mean exactly that. Once again, this seemed to confuse Obama so much that he stuttered through the rest of the debate. The conclusion was about the role of government - Romney said there should be less of it, Obama said that it could do good things that people couldn't do on their own.
