Navesh Chitrakar makes a friend

'It was the final day of the Bisket festival and a huge crowd had gathered at Bhaktapur. On roofs, through windows and on every balcony, everyone was looking for the best spot to enjoy the festival. I saw one house that was ideal for me to take pictures from but I couldn’t just crash inside without permission. I took my chance and rang the door bell. After some time a man looked out from the window of this house - he was the owner. I smiled at him and requested if I could go to the roof of his house to take some pictures of the festival. After looking closely at my ID he allowed me to enter his house. I thanked him and went straight towards the roof which was filled with people. I took a spot from where I could shoot pictures but noticed this girl in the picture sitting with her mother. There’s a variation of crowd and isolation in one picture that I like a lot.'
