Earth Hour's global super hero ambassador Spider-Man joined the cast of the "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" - Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Jamie Foxx - in turning off the lights at over 60 iconic structures across the Marina Bay skyline.

The movement was started by Earth Hour's CEO and co-founder Andy Ridley in 2007 and was organised by the World Wide Fund (WWF) for Nature. The symbolic act of turning off the lights encourages people around the world to think of ways to live a more environmentally sustainable lifestyle.
