Doraemon’s original form

Doraemon was not always earless and blue. In fact, it was born yellow and had ears, which were unfortunately chewed off by robotic mice while it was asleep. The story goes that Doraemon drank a potion that was meant to make it happier but took the wrong medicine, causing it to cry for three consecutive days. Its tears are said to have washed away its yellow paint and it has since remained blue. That also explains why Doraemon hates mice.
